What is it?
Delta--9-tetrahydrocannabinol, to give it it`s active ingredients real name, is a naturally occuring plant with a scientific classification : The genus cannabis belonging to the family Moraceae. Hemp is classified as cannabis sativa.

Street names
Grass, blow, weed, pot, dope, reefer, roach, hash, skunk, ganja, splif, joint

What does it look like?

There are 3 main types of cannabis. They are:-
1CANNABIS GRASS ; This looks like dried herbs.
2 CANNABIS RESIN ; this can be either black or gold and is smoked or eaten in cakes. It is usually in the form of a small cube which is broken down
3 LIQUID ; This is usually painted onto the paper of normal cigarettes

Short term effects
Loss of short term memory, loss of self-control, loss of perceptions such as time and speed, lung and breathing problems

Long term effects
Heart and lung problems similar to smoking tobacco (except that there are 400 known chemicals in marijuna and a single "joint" contains 4 times more carcinogens than a filter cigratte) immune system and reproductive system problems, confusion, anxiety, paranoia, lethargy, depression, cancer

The Law
Marijuana is classified as a "CLASS C" drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act

Detection
Detection in urine for up to 30 days depending on frequency of use
